a 27-storey high office building, in a class “b” site, located in kwun tong area. we are the curtain wall fa?ade design consultant for this project, participated from the beginning stage of concept design, to the final stage of curtain wall production inspection and site inspection.

kcc is a twin tower commercial development located in kwai chung. the building features series of environmentally friendly system such as the double glazed curtain system, sky garden and the use of environmentally friendly materials. phase 1 of the project was officially opened on 2008, a 35-storey building with 500,000 sq ft of space dedicated to office, restaurant space and the grand lobby.

avare is located in the central kuala lumpur closed to the petronas towers, the royal selangor turf club and the embassy precinct. avare is 41 storey height tower with 78 apartments; the 3600mm high ceiling and full curtain wall using frameless low e glass provide an unobstructed view on each floor. the project is completed in 2009.

destination 520 room hotel with south east asian design. east facing onto the famous lake taihu, the largest fresh water lake in china. the lobby has a cathedral ceiling reminiscent of a long house with a traditional fresh water junk in the mezzanine buffet restaurant complete with sails and rigging visible from the main entrance.

a private 6 bedroom tropical villa with lush landscaped grounds, a 20m infinity edge swimming pool, day sala and expansive sun terrace and private gym, baan suralai is open for private rentals.

sited above the fishing village of bophut, baan suralai is located very close to samui’s international airport and the main tourist centre of chaweng beach.

the architecture is modern and yet still evokes an understated thai elegance creating a spacious and cool environment. the villa’s voluminous living dining spaces and generous terraces allow owners and guests to luxuriate in their own private lush tropical setting overlooking the infinity pool and the bay of siam. all bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms – those to the master suites also share the spectacular views.

situated on a 12 hectare site, the casino podium is 6 hectares in area with a 2 hectare gaming hall.

initially map deployed a small team to assisting the design team in solving problems and producing detailed design solutions in a timely manner to aid the contractor with his programme. the team grew from an initial five very senior architects to a total of 25 working in hong kong and macau.

edward billson was selected by bovis lend lease as the ap and design architect for the revitalization of 53 luxury condominiums on the water at repulse bay.

the design brief was to transform the appearance of the building by introducing a cladding system and glazing system that would be low maintenance and would not leak in a signal 10 typhoon.

mr. billson worked with meinhardt fa?ade technology to develop an alpolic aluminum panel cladding solution utilizing some of the existing curtain wall system for fixing. three different colors of aluminum cladding were used in the final design to blend the development in with the houses above it on the hillside and to remove the institutional look of having all the units finished in the same color and material.

a&a works of an existing 42 residential apartments to include 4 new lifts reduced the number of existing staircases and re-design the apartment layout to enhance and upgrade the lighting, ventilation and living quality. the fa?ade and internal courtyard has transform to a modern and contemporary architecture.

the development centrally located on chaweng main beach comprises of 20 garden suites, 22 pool villas, 2 executive pool villas, a communal swimming pool, restaurant and a spa facility.

this existing resort is to be entirely redeveloped to contemporary resort quality levels to create a tranquil thai style getaway destination with better branding and aesthetically cohesive experience for guests.

the architecture is a blend of classical thai and contemporary architecture. the white exterior is modern, cooling and relaxing and highlights the surrounding lush landscape. a central body of water winds through, preserving the existing banyan trees, down to the pool and restaurant at the beach front. the restaurant offers a superlative dining experience with fantastic views of the coast.
