situated in the retail and tourist mecca of tsim sha tsui on the corner of nathan and humphrey’s road, the 50 years old building was transformed into exclusive serviced apartments with 88 expansive light filled rooms to accommodate for a niche clientele.

the existing run down residential building was transformed into an up market boutique hotel with 66 rooms at the centre of the wan chai district. the density and the physical characteristics of its external surroundings were carried through into its interior as design elements transforming it into a serene and luxurious abode.

this office lobby was located at the heart of central near the famed lan kwai fong area.to tackle the long and narrow condition of the foyer, extensive use of glass, mirrors and lighting was adopted to create the illusion of a larger space. led installation for the commercial lifts had created a fresh feeling for the restaurants above.

a hotel proposal comprising of 300 room hotel was made in wong chuk hang. the design concept used the idea of the “fold” to establish its presence at street level on the podium. its crown masked its club house and roof top pool together at the top of the building.
